Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We provide architectural and interior design services for both residential and commercial projects, including new construction, renovations, and additions.

  • Yes. All of our projects are custom-designed.

We design custom residential and commercial floor plans tailored to your site, goals, and local requirements. Every project is approached thoughtfully to ensure functionality, code compliance, and a clear path to construction.

  • The best way to begin is by contacting us to discuss your project. From there, we’ll determine whether the Pathway to Your Dream Project is the appropriate first step and outline next steps.

  • The design phase typically takes at least 6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project and the review process.

Once the design phase is complete, the construction drawings phase takes several additional weeks, depending on the project scope and permitting requirements. Specific timelines are discussed once the project details are defined.

  • Yes. All new build projects begin with our Pathway to Your Dream Project design phase.

This initial phase focuses on conceptual design, planning, and direction before technical drawings begin.

    • Residential Pathway: $2,500

    • Commercial Pathway: $3,500

This phase covers the design process only. A full set of construction documents is completed afterward.

  • A full set of construction-ready architectural plans typically starts at $5,000.

Final pricing depends on several factors, including:

    • Whether the project is residential or commercial

    • The size and complexity of the building

    • The scope of services required

    • Site conditions and local permitting requirements

Because every project is unique, pricing is customized after we understand the full scope.

  • Beginning with the Pathway allows us to:

    • Understand your goals, priorities, and budget early

    • Explore design options before detailed drawings begin

    • Reduce revisions later in the process

    • Create a clear roadmap for construction-ready plans

This approach leads to better outcomes and a more efficient design process.

  • Yes. All of our plans are prepared with local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements in mind. Our goal is to create designs that are not only beautiful, but also realistic to permit and build.

  • In most cases, no.

We are often asked if we can revise or “clean up” existing floor plans to meet local zoning, permitting, or building code requirements. In our experience, plans that were not originally designed for a specific site and jurisdiction usually require extensive changes—and often need to be redrawn entirely—to comply with local codes and construction standards.

For this reason, we focus on custom architectural design and prefer to start our work from the beginning. This allows us to create plans that are better suited to the site, easier to permit, and more successful to build.

  • Yes. We offer interior design services both as part of a full architectural project and as a stand-alone service. Our interior design work can include space planning, finishes, paint selections, lighting, furnishings, and décor. Whether you’re working on a new build, renovation, or refreshing an existing space, we tailor our services to meet your needs.
