Support Services

Great projects require more than a strong design. They also require thoughtful planning, clear communication, and the right support along the way.

Studio 27 offers additional project support services for select architecture and interior design projects, including construction management, residential and commercial space planning, and virtual design options. These services allow us to adapt our approach to the unique needs, location, and complexity of each project. From early planning through implementation, our goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Support Tailored To Your Project

No two design projects follow exactly the same path. Some require additional coordination during construction. Others need careful space planning before larger design decisions can be made. And for clients outside our immediate service area, portions of the architecture or interior design process may be completed virtually.

Rather than treating these as one-size-fits-all packages, Studio 27 incorporates the appropriate level of planning and support into qualifying projects based on their individual needs.

Our team works across both residential and commercial architecture and interior design, allowing us to look at each project from multiple perspectives and recommend the support that makes sense for your goals.

Construction Management & Project Coordination

The transition from design to construction introduces a new set of decisions, questions, and moving parts. For select projects designed by Studio 27, our involvement can continue into the construction phase through additional construction management and project coordination services.

Because our team already understands the project's design intent, we can help facilitate communication, address design-related questions, coordinate with contractors and trades, and help keep decisions aligned with the approved vision as the project takes shape.

Construction management is offered as an additional service for qualifying Studio 27 projects and is tailored to the scope and needs of each project.

Depending on the project, support may include:

  • Construction-phase coordination

  • Communication with contractors and trades

  • Design clarification

  • Site visits

  • Review of design-related questions

  • Coordination of selections and installations

Helping Carry the Design Through Construction

Space Planning

A well-designed space begins with understanding how people will actually use it.

Studio 27 incorporates space planning into many of our residential and commercial architecture and interior design projects to create layouts that support function, comfort, circulation, and everyday use.

For residential spaces, that may mean considering furniture placement, traffic flow, room relationships, storage, entertaining, or the changing needs of a family. For commercial environments, space planning can help support workflow, employee needs, customer experience, accessibility, and efficient use of available square footage.

By thinking through these relationships early, we can create spaces that don't simply look good—they work well for the people who use them.

Space planning may consider:

  • Furniture layouts

  • Traffic flow and circulation

  • Room relationships

  • Functional zones

  • Storage needs

  • Workplace layouts

  • Customer and employee experience

  • Flexibility and future use

Virtual Architecture & Interior Design

Your project doesn't always have to be nearby for Studio 27 to be part of it.

Depending on the scope and needs of the project, select architecture and interior design services can be provided virtually, allowing us to collaborate with clients beyond our primary West Texas and New Mexico service areas.

The virtual experience is customized to each project and may include video consultations, digital presentations, design concepts, drawings, finish and material guidance, furniture selections, or other services appropriate to the scope.

Not every project can be completed entirely virtually. Some architecture and interior design projects require site visits, field verification, or in-person involvement. When necessary and feasible, our team may travel to the project location for an additional travel fee.

We'll help determine what can be accomplished virtually—and when being there in person makes the most sense.

FAQs

Can I hire Studio 27 only for construction management?

1

Our construction management and coordination services are generally offered in connection with qualifying projects designed by Studio 27. Because our team is already familiar with the project's design and goals, we can provide continuity as the project moves from design into construction.

Is space planning a separate design package?

2

Space planning is often incorporated into Studio 27's larger architecture and interior design services based on the needs of the project. It helps us determine how a space should function before moving into more detailed design decisions.

Do you provide space planning for both homes and businesses?

3

Yes. We consider space planning for both residential and commercial projects, including room relationships, furniture layouts, circulation, workflow, functionality, and how people interact with the space.

Can my entire project be completed virtually?

4

Possibly. Some architecture and interior design services can be completed virtually, while others require site visits or in-person involvement. We'll evaluate your project and recommend an approach based on its location, scope, and requirements.

Can Studio 27 work with clients outside West Texas and New Mexico?

5

Yes. Virtual design allows us to work with clients in additional locations when the project is suitable for remote collaboration. For projects requiring in-person involvement, travel may also be available for an additional travel fee depending on the project and location.
